proverbs 21:3 says "To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice" - and it is true wisdom right there.

It's funny how God works in life to the firm believer - how nothing is ever an accident but planned out in His perfect ways - and I'm talking about how He will reiterate something to get a very important point across to us.

So, for all you modern-day thinking people who like going to the movies and whatnot... I thought that Spiderman 3 actually could be an example of this proverb! Remember how Peter let his ego get to him? Well, of all the "sacrifice" he did as Spiderman, what really got him back on track was doing what was right and just in the very end - admittance of being in the wrong, and repentance from it is a key to a lot of our problems in relationships (believe it or not) - so, think about how Proverbs 21:3 could be used in your life... it just may surprise you how little things can add up and be a stumbling block if you don't catch it before it's too late!

With that said, if you have any comments/critique, its much appreciated! I do plan to color this in photoshop, so I'll post that one when it's done. :)

I really enjoy the message you wrote. Reading the verse just impacts so much. I have read it before but as we all go on living we forget certain things from the bible. Thats probably why we read and re-read the bible, to be reminded of things we would normally forget.
Thanks for the reminder.

I also got reminded to hold God's word above everything in my life, even the movies and other outings I might do.

thanks, I try to be effective with my work...it was quite a challenge to do anything scriptural in art school really, but when the opportunity arises, usually it turns out better than anticipated :)
